Mirror hygiene during endpoint stalls

June 20, 2026

TorZon and We The North, like other tracked services, can show intermittent onion failures. The failure mode that hurts readers is not the timeout — it is the scramble that follows.

Rotate, do not reinvent

1. Open the next onion on your saved list or from Onion links.
2. Confirm the anti-phishing phrase.
3. Only if every saved mirror fails, check a trusted redistribution hub — still without logging in on clearnet.

Do not search mid-incident

Search results during outages are polluted with lookalikes. Your pre-saved list exists so you never need that path under stress.
