Outage windows are social-engineering season. Accounts pretending to be market staff appear on Telegram, Discord, and forum DMs with the same script: the market is migrating, send coins to a “temporary” wallet, or share a seed “for recovery.”

Tells

• Urgency and countdown language
• Requests for seeds, private keys, or remote desktop
• New deposit addresses delivered only in chat
• Unsolicited contact right after a mirror flap

Correct response

Do not reply with credentials or coins. Re-open a known onion from Onion links or a trusted redistribution hub. If the live market has a status post, read it there — not in a DM.
